Doel van die matriekraad:

• Om saam met die skoolhoof en personeel toe te sien dat daar dissipline en orde in die skool gehandhaaf word.
• Om die algemene skoolgees te verbeter deur leerders te betrek by skoolaktiwiteite.
• Om positiewe gesindhede teenoor die skool en skoolgaan te kweek.
• Om as skakel te dien tussen die leerders en die personeel.
• Om leerkragte te betrek by die aktiwiteite van die leerlingraad.

RCL

The Representitive Council of Learners is the highest authoritive body which represents learners of the school. Three representitives per grade are elected democratically to form a council of fifteen members.

The following positions are elected and the following learners fill these positions in 2010:

• Chairperson - Heine Bellingan
• Vice chairperson - Christine Rust
• Secretary - Ana Saul
• Treasurer - Noël Basson 

The RCL organizes various functions to promote team spirit and support the community. With Valentine's Day they take flowers to various old age homes. Before the June exams they arrange a tea for the grade 12's. To promote team spirit, the RCL hosts "Battle of the Bands" and "Funky Week". Every year in October the RCL presents a formal Spring ball for all learners. Money collected by the RCL is used for various projects like leadership training and benches for the schoolgrounds.
